About the author
This book reflects Damon Burton's 25 years of experience as a teacher, coach, researcher, consultant and coaching educator. Burton has a Ph.D. in sport psychology from the University of Illinois specialising in applied sport psychology and coaching education, and has taught undergraduate and graduate applied sport psychology courses at the University of Idaho for 24 years. Thomas Raedeke has a Ph.D. specialising in sport and exercise psychology from the University of Oregon. He has taught undergraduate and graduate applied sport psychology courses focusing on coaching education and mental skills training at the University of Oregon, University of Colorado and East Carolina University over the past 15 years.
