Murphy Goodwin, MD is Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Chief of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Southern California and Co-Director of the Institute for Maternal and Fetal Health. Dr. Goodwin is board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. He received his medical degree from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles in 1983. From 1983 to 1987, he completed both his Internship and Residency in the Phoenix Integrated Residency Program. He remained on faculty with an appointment at the University of Arizona from 1987 to 1989. Dr. Goodwin continued his training as a Fellow in Maternal-Fetal Medicine from 1989 to 1991 at the University of Southern California. Thereafter he joined the Division of Maternal Fetal-Medicine at USC. He has served as President of the Los Angeles Obstetrical & Gynecological Society, and Program Chair of the Obstetrical & Gynecological Assembly of Southern California.
