Electromyography is a fully interactive tool to teach interpretation of electrodiagnostic findings in the context of clinical vignettes. It uses a "game-show" quiz approach to make it both fun and challenging, with the goal of the programme to teach users how to identify waveforms and appropriately interpret nerve conduction study and needle examination findings. The programme is organised into 10 quiz sets or topics covering general exam findings and common clinical problems. Each set is devoted to a particular theme and contains approximately 20 multiple-choice questions framed by case vignettes, waveforms, audio/video clips and other information to help the user select the correct answer. Audio discussions related to the questions and answers are presented within each case to highlight key features and facilitate learning. Topics include basic NCS waveforms and variants, basic needle EMG waveforms (spontaneous activity and motor unit potentials), technical issues, upper extremity, lower extremity, peripheral neuropathies, diffuse neuromuscular disorders, cranial nerve disorders and complex findings.

Book condition
An important factor of a second-hand book is the condition of the book. The buyer may not be surprised. Always mention damages or defects. We use a system with 3 stars:
The book is acceptable: you have used it to study and made notes and markings – but everything is still readable. The cover and pages are in good condition.
The book still looks good: there are a few notes in it and you marked it. There are hardly any signs of use on the cover and pages
The book is (almost) new: you have not written or marked in it. There are no signs of use on the cover and pages
